    The big thing behind these rankings is going to be finding dudes that will not only have the talent to produce for your fantasy teams, but also dudes that will have the playing time needed to provide value.

    Some catchers will get at-bats outside of the catcher spot and that will help them accumulate more runs and RBI. So just because a player might have more talent, does not mean they should be ranked higher.

    The draft strategy for the catcher position is heavily depending on your league settings.

    If you are in a standard one-catcher setup, then it is a lot more feasible to wait to draft your catcher. Unless someone like Cal Raleigh, Ben Rice or Shea Langeliers falls far enough, they will likely be over drafted, especially considering the kind of value managers can find later in the draft.

    However, in a two-catcher setup, or a 15-team league, managers will want to push catchers up their draft boards as the talent will dry up a bit quicker.
