Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Ty Jerome, PG, SG, CLE (14% rostered)
Tonight: 23 minutes, 29 points (10-of-19 FG, 2-of-2 FT), three rebounds, seven triples, one assist.
Analysis: Even before earning the start tonight with Darius Garland sidelined, Jerome has been quietly producing career-best numbers this season, averaging 10.7 points, 3.8 assists, 2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and boasting highly impressive shooting splits of 60.4% from the field and 54.1% from beyond the arc in just 18.1 minutes per game this season. While Garland is likely to return soon, Jerome remains an excellent handcuff option and a valuable streamer anytime a member of the Cavs’ backcourt is out. Given his high efficiency and impactful play in limited minutes, Jerome is worth monitoring and streaming whenever the opportunity arises.
Torrey Craig, SF, PF, CHI (0% rostered)
Tonight: 28 minutes, 15 points (6-of-10 FG, 5-of-9 FT), six rebounds, three triples, two assists, one steal, one block.
Analysis: Patrick Williams is set to miss at least the rest of the week due to inflammation in his surgically repaired left foot and this opened the opportunity for Craig to step-in as the fill-in starter tonight, logging 25-plus minutes and contributing effectively. While he will likely be the last option for the Bulls in their starting lineup, the added playing time, experience and opportunity make him worth a look in deeper leagues for managers seeking short-term value in 3-pointers, rebounds and defensive stats.
