Weather Impacts on Your Fantasy Players (April 29 – May 5)

  • “Hitting conditions get a little better this week as temperatures start to climb”

Hitting environments should begin improving this week as the calendar turns to May and temperatures start to climb. Mid-spring weather varies widely, which provides both good and bad opportunities for hitters (e.g., some games will be played at 90 degrees this week while others will be in the chilly 50’s!).

Friday will be this week’s wettest day. A large storm system in the Midwest and Great Lakes could threaten games at Cincinnati, St. Louis, Cleveland, Chicago, and Pittsburgh. The storm will weaken and move to the East Coast on Saturday.
