• Welcome to last Tuesday Night Pickups of the season. With only a few games left of the regular season, it’s the last chance to find the value adds to propel you to a fantasy championship.

    Standard Leagues

    (<50% rostered on Yahoo)

Kevin Porter Jr., PG, MIL (16%)

Tonight: 25 Minutes, 21 points (6-of-9 FG, 9-of-9 FT), four rebounds, five assists and five steals.

Analysis: When Damian Lillard went down with injury, an opportunity opened up for Porter Jr. to step up and be one of the lead guards for the Bucks, but struggled with consistency, only producing strong games irregularly. That’s changed recently, with tonight making it three strong games in a row scoring 20 or more points in each one, to go with strong counting stats and an elite five steals tonight. He doesn’t always hit triples, but it’s in his arsenal when his shot is falling and is looking like a strong option in fantasy right now with Lillard not expected back for the final games of the regular season.

    Justin Champagnie, SG/SF, WASH (13%)

Tonight: 35 Minutes, 20 points (8-of-13 FG, 2-of-3 FT), four triples and 13 rebounds.

Analysis: Champagnie is becoming a hot pickup again after posting two straight double-doubles with a combined seven triples. The lack of a supporting stats in assists, steals and blocks is underwhelming, but he’s shown in the past he can contribute in the defensive categories most nights. With Washington aiming to avoid winning any more games for the season, they are rolling out the bench players with increased minutes and Champagnie is in a position to benefit.
