Tier 1
- Lamar Jackson – BAL – Josh Allen may have had more weeks as an overall QB1 but Jackson bested Allen in every fantasy relevant statistical category you care to name. Passing yards, rushing yards, touchdowns, fantasy points, and fantasy points per game. Jackson’s entire supporting cast returns for another year plus the addition of a solid safety blanket in DeAndre Hopkins.
- Josh Allen – BUF – The reigning MVP had a fantastic year and a couple of monster games especially in Weeks 14 and 15 where he had a historic stretch where he combined for over 90 fantasy points in those 2 weeks. However, Jackson gets the nod at number-one because Allen still had a couple of weeks that were single digit point weeks while Lamar’s worst week still ended up getting managers still very respectable 15.9 points. The addition of Josh Palmer and another year of Keon Coleman should significantly help him.
- Joe Burrow – CIN – Had it not been for an awful defense, the Bengals would have won a few more games, probably made the postseason and it could have been Burrow we were talking about as the league MVP. He totaled 45 touchdowns last season, which was 14 more than Jayden Daniels. He has both of his top two receivers in town for the long haul now with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins signing contract extensions, with Chase Brown and Mike Gesicki solidified at their positions as well, Burrow could have another monster year despite having to play six games against hellaciously tough defenses in his division.
- Jalen Hurts – PHI – He may not have the gaudy passing numbers the other guys on this list have, but he has one thing that most of those guys do not…double digit rushing touchdowns. Any time the Eagles get near the goal line, they’re not afraid to use Hurts and with the Brotherly Shove ban being staved off for at least another year, expect more of the same from the defending champs, even with all of his skill players returning. He can vault into the top-three if the passing yards and touchdowns go up.
