Ty Welcome to Sunday Night Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 11/24! We have a shallow slate of games today, with only six matchups total. That’s barely 90 players to comb through to find the best pickups for your fantasy teams. Let’s comb through them anyways and see what diamond might be hiding in the rough.
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Ty Jerome, PG/SG, CLE (19% rostered, Yahoo)
Tonight: 28 minutes, 26 points (9-14 FG, 4-8 3PT, 4-4 FT), six assists, four steals, three rebounds, on block
Analysis: Run, don’t walk, to scoop up Jerome, who has scored in double figures in four straight games and over 20 points in three of those four. He has hit multiple three’s in half of the games he has played in, is the first man off the bench for an extremely talented Cavaliers team and has performed extremely well even when their “Big 4” is healthy. Sure, he is shooting an unsustainable 55% from the 3pt line, but he’s averaging a career high in steals and boasting the best usage rate of his career. He is an established rotation guy for one of the best teams in the entire league and has the green light to let the ball fly. His roster percentage should fly high over the next few days and I would want to be one of the reasons why it does.
Jaden McDaniels, SF/PF, MIN (38% rostered)
Tonight: 32 minutes,10 points (4-13 FG, 2-6 3PT), five rebounds, one assist
Analysis: McDaniels has played very well as of late, scoring in double-figures in five of his last six games, with multiple 3s in four straight. His zero steal night ended a streak of seven straight games with a steal and five straight games with multiple steals. He’s also grabbed five or more rebounds in six of his last seven games. He should be rostered in far more leagues, even though he is the third or forth option on offense, he contributes in nearly every category and won’t really hurt you anywhere.
Alexandre Sarr, PF/C, WAS (43% rostered)
Tonight: 31 minutes, 17 points (7-15 FG, 1-4 3PT, 2-4 FT), 14 rebounds, three assists, two blocks, one steal
