Key Storylines

Malik Beasley is the target: This doesn’t have to be a very long explanation: the veteran guard has seven games in a row scoring at least 15 points and three triples on great percentages for the most part. He’s still very available on most leagues and at the moment has little competition for minutes in Detroit. Ronald Holland II is a not close second choice but as a rookie, his production could vary a lot. The Pistons seem to be competing for a playoff spot, so you know they will play Beasley as he’s the best shooter they have.

Update: In case you missed it, Ausar Thompson has been upgraded to doubtful for Thursday’s game. While he isn’t expected to play, it’s good to see him potentially returning soon.

Inconsistency is the bread and butter of this team: I will always take accountability for my streamer picks: I chose Moussa Diabate over Grant Williams and Josh Green, and all he did was grab seven boards. If you were looking for boards, good enough, but it was definitely a disappointment on every other level. You can still target him if you want rebounds and blocks, but just be wary of him having a stinker, it’s a very likely outcome.

Grant Williams can actually do some production whenever he’s up for it, but we got another interesting option coming: due to Tré Mann’s back soreness, he’s been dropped on a lot of leagues, even though he managed to get a 19-point game along with six dimes against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. Don’t sleep on that.

Stream of the Game

If you can grab Malik Beasley I wouldn’t look elsewhere, but I’m a fan of Tré Mann if he’s confirmed to play. You can also choose to trust Grant Williams, but he’s capable of disappointing you very easily.

Tim Hardaway Jr. is also worth a shout since he returned last game, although he was outplayed by Beasley in that one.

Alternatives: Moussa Diabaté (rebounds, blocks), Ron Holland II (points, rebounds), Isaiah Stewart (points, rebounds, blocks).
