The Warriors second unit: With how good Golden State has been after acquiring Jimmy Butler, the second unit of the team has also picked up the slack and made us pay enough attention for fantasy hoops: Moses Moody and Quinten Post have been the best when it comes to production and consistency, with Kevon Looney and even Gary Payton II having their moments from time to time, although their relevance fantasy-wise will only translate to deeper leagues at the moment.
With the Bay Area team having more chances of blowing out teams like they did to the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night, it’s not a bad option to take a gamble on these guys at all. Against the Magic, Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) and Trayce Jackson-Davis (illness) continue to be the only ones in jeopardy of missing the match.
Even more doubts at the point guard spot: Cole Anthony picked up a knee hyperextension against the Cavaliers on Tuesday, which coach Jamahl Mosley assures won’t make him miss any time as it’s not as serious as expected. With that said, hyperextensions are no joke, so I’d assume the Magic might be a bit more careful with Anthony’s handling, as Jalen Suggs (quadriceps) is also on the shelf already. Anthony Black could be a good pickup for a stream on Thursday, but if Cole’s knee is good to go, both should still share the duties until Suggs comes back. C. Anthony is currently questionable to play.
Stream of the Game
Both teams are not in their best moment in streaming offerings, but I’d go with Anthony Black due to Cole Anthony’s injury.
Alternatives: Cole Anthony – if he plays (points, assists, steals), Moses Moody (points, 3s, steals), Quentin Post (points, rebounds, 3s), Wendell Carter Jr. (points, rebounds, steals), Goga Bitadze (rebounds, blocks).
