Key Storylines

Bottom Half Bucks:  The Bucks are 21st in offensive rating and 16th in defensive rating so far. When you have Damian Lillard (who has been sidelined this week) and Giannis Antetokounmpo, your offense struggling so badly doesn’t make sense. There have been some odd sets which look aimless sometimes and head coach Doc Rivers is also trying to figure out who the best option is at SG. The main guys have to produce, which is good for fantasy teams on paper, but they also need to put up some wins.

The Best Glass Cleaner: Moussa Diabate is averaging double-digit rebounds in his last three along with two blocks. He doesn’t score so he won’t get much attention, but that is some great value if you need those stats. I went in-depth on this in the Working the Wire, but an injured frontcourt is also allowing Grant Williams to walk into counting stats, even if his percentages are poor.

Update: Miles Bridges popped up as questionable one week into his two-week re-evaluation timeline. It’s odd, but I would lean towards him being out at least one more game before returning. If he plays, it dampens Williams’ and Diabate’s value slightly, but the Hornets still have no center so they should still be streamers.

Moussa Diabate looks like the ultimate rebounds specialist with some blocks as the complementary side dish.
