It’s another busy Saturday in the league, and it’s as good a time as any to try and tweak your roster by hitting the waiver wire. We didn’t see a ton of stuff in tonight’s games, but that doesn’t mean we got nothing at all. Let’s dive in.

Standard Leagues

We’re not going to get too into this one, but Scotty Pippen Jr. needs to be rostered whenever Ja Morant is out of the lineup. Not much more to it than that.

Gary Trent Jr., SG/SF, MIL (10% rostered)

Tonight: 29 minutes, 16 points (6-of-8 FGs), four triples, three boards, two assists

Analysis: Trent was slow out of the gates last season but eventually settled into a middle-round role. It looks like we might have a repeat performance on our hands. He’s trending up and has once again carved out the lion’s share of minutes at SG. An early shooting slump has led into a stretch where Trent has hit 21-of-35 3-pointers, and while that will obviously cool off, he’s once again getting enough minutes to sustain value even without the heater.
