• Welcome to the last Monday Night Pickups of 2024. It is only right that we end the year off with a bang. With 2025 quickly approaching, it is time to start focusing on winning the tough matchups in order to get into the fantasy playoffs. This is where we come in. We were able to gather up 15 names from this seven-game slate that could help fantasy managers in both the short term and long term. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the list of players that could help put you over the edge in fantasy basketball. Happy New Year and enjoy!

    Standard Leagues

    ( <50% rostered on Yahoo)

    Malcolm Brogdon, G, WAS

Tonight’s Game: 29 minutes, 18 points (5-of-11 FG, 7-of-7 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one triple

With Jordan Poole (hip) out, Brogdon was able to put up a strong line against the Knicks. To be fair, he’s been pretty decent with Poole in the lineup, ranking inside the top-100 over the last week. There is a chance that Brogdon could be moved at the trade deadline, but it is better to get the short-term boost now and worry about a possible trade later.  Brogdon has a strong all-around basketball stat line that could help out a lot of fantasy managers. Give him a look if he’s sitting on your waiver wire.

    Kris Dunn, G, LAC

Tonight’s Game: 32 minutes, seven points (3-of-7 FG), three rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and one triple

Dunn’s minutes have been pretty consistent lately, which helps make him a play in 12-team leagues. He is not really known for his scoring, but he does bring excellent value in the defensive stats and assist categories. With Kawhi Leonard’s (knee) return approaching, we may see Dunn move back to the bench, so it might be better to grab Dunn sooner rather than later to get some extra value.
