Welcome to another night of Monday Night Pickups. It was a horrid night in the NBA, as injuries happened a dime a dozen. Luckily, we are here to help you find value on the fly to assist you in either making the playoffs or excelling in them. Here are some names to consider to boost your fantasy team.
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Buddy Hield, G/F, GSW
Tonight’s Game: 31 Minutes, 22 points (8-of-14 FG, 1-of-1 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one steal and five triples
Here we go, again. Hield was able to have a nice shooting night in this one. Unfortunately, given historical data, this is not something we can come to expect from Hield regularly. The only good reason to grab Hield is because the Warriors have three games left for the remainder of the week. If you are in need of game played with a possible pop-off game mixed in, Hield is your man.
Donovan Clingan, C, POR
Tonight’s Game: 29 Minutes, 13 points (6-of-12 FG, 1-of-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks
This is what happens when Clingan doesn’t get into foul trouble. He isn’t that great of a player, yet, but his game translates very well to fantasy value. He is the main big man in Portland at the moment, so make sure that Clingan is not sitting on your waiver wire.
