Welcome to Sunday Night Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 12/29! No delays here, there’s good adds to get to. Let’s get into it!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
De’Andre Hunter, SF,PF, ATL (49% rostered)
Tonight: 22 minutes, 22 points (8-of-12 FG, 4-for-7 FT), three rebounds, two assists, three steals, two treys
Analysis: Barely squeaking in here for a standard league option because De’Andre Hunter has been on a tear this month and should definitely be rostered in more than 50% of leagues. Averaging north of 20 points per game over his last 30 with 28 minutes, it’s clear he’s a trusted option on an aggressive Atlanta Hawks offense. The 22 minutes are a little strange, but the game did get away from the Raptors so the Hawks were coasting. If he’s available, add him!
Andrew Nembhard, PG,SG, IND (28% rostered)
Tonight: 33 minutes, 17 points (6-of-12 FG, 4-for-5 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, one blocks, one treys
Analysis: After missing the last game with a knee injury, also against the Celtics, Andrew Nembhard was back with vengeance. He’s pretty locked into the starting lineup as a strong SG and can take over ball handling duties at times as well, which makes him very valuable to the Pacers. His all around game is very fantasy friendly and only had 2 turnovers to add a cherry on top.
