We’re over a week into the season now and you can already see the panic setting in with some managers. Big names are hitting the wire, you’re seeing some “what do I do about Myles Turner?” type questions, and there’s unrest among the masses.

Good. Play it to your advantage.

A week is still nothing in the grand scheme of things. Sure, it sucks to drop games and matchups in the early going, but reality a month from now is going to feel a million miles away from what’s happening today. Karl-Anthony Towns will eventually hit some shots. Jakob Poeltl will get to play without being called for fouls every second, I promise. It’s early but you have lots of buy-low opportunities already, so see if you can strike while the iron is hot. This is the most engaged your league will be all year — basketball is fresh and the grind hasn’t set in. No team is out of it yet and everyone is still riding the draft high.

Don’t ask, don’t get. Go buy low.

Ryan Rollins

Rollins put up a career-best 25 points last night but didn’t stop there, tacking on four assists, four steals and four 3-pointers. He should be the starting PG in Milwaukee until further notice — Doc Rivers said that Kevin Porter Jr. (left ankle sprain) is “going to be out a bit” — and has been strong through three starts so far. Rollins had a quiet breakthrough last year and has hit the ground running. He just helps the Bucks win games and that’s an easy ticket to more work. Scoop him everywhere and see where this goes.
