A busy Friday cedes to a calmer Saturday, though a rush of teams on a back-to-back means that fantasy GMs will have to stay diligent throughout the day. Lineups are going to be weird tonight and there’s value for the taking if you’re patient enough to wait for the news to break. Here’s where we’re at.

Top Pickups

This is the “general must-add” section regardless of the slate. If these players are being overlooked and remain chilling on the waiver wire, consider adding them to your squad.

Dylan Harper (21%)

Harper was the main beneficiary of Devin Vassell’s absence on Friday with 22 points (9-of-15 FG, 3-of-3 FT) in 29 minutes, adding two rebounds, a pair of steals, a block and a 3-pointer for good measure. Vassell is looking at a multi-game absence here based on Mitch Johnson’s comments, and while the guy who steps up figures to rotate from night to night — Harrison Barnes and Julian Champagnie will have their big nights — Harper is worth adding in standard leagues. His polish and poise is beyond his years and the Spurs see a big future for him. The skills are there and Harper will get a little more playing time with a little more consistency. It’s a good recipe.
