Pickups of the Day for August 5th

With the summer temperature soaring as we enter the first full week of August, the heat is on, as fantasy managers fight to find valuable contributors from the waiver wire. Though at times it may seem like there is no value to be had, if you look wide enough and deep enough, winning pieces can be found. Sticking to the summer heat, I found some valuable players in the Arizona desert and the high humidity of South Beach.

Anthony’s Fantasy Baseball Week in Review – August…

The week in review covers all the starts by the starting pitchers, what the bullpens did (saves, holds-wise), how did the offense perform (runs scored, walks, strikeouts) and who stood out with the bat, if anyone did. So, in this edition of risers & fallers, we are going to look at the players that I believe were most impacted, either positively or negatively.

Sports Ethos MLB Trade Deadline Fantasy Baseball Losers…

Now that the MLB trade deadline is over and the dust has settled, tens of players have moved from one team to another, while some never left home, with greener pastures just out of their reach. We've gone over who the winners were after the trade deadline was over, so today we will be going over the losers. Remember, this is from a fantasy perspective, not an in-real-life perspective, so it doesn't matter if a player joined a good team if the ballpark negatively affects their ability to hit home runs, it matters because the park can hurt their overall fantasy production.

Fantasy MLB Today: Mr. Anderson In The Big…
