PG, Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have requested waivers on guard Theo Pinson.

Pinson is the roster casualty with the Nets reaching an agreement with Tyler Johnson. Pinson has appeared in 33 games with Brooklyn this season, his second in the league, though he only averaged 11.1 minutes per contest. While he has put up some big games in the G League, the Nets ultimately opted for a more experienced option as they gear up for a playoff appearance.
