Sam Amick of The Athletic reports that Mike D'Antoni has not ruled out a return to the Rockets next season, though it is most likely that he heads elsewhere.

D'Antoni wants to coach somewhere next season whether that's Houston or another team, but him leaving after a disappointing playoff exit isn't the lock it once was. He reportedly has the support of James Harden and Russell Westbrook, but D'Antoni's relationship with the organization is under question after contract negotiations in 2019 broke down and never really picked up again. Amick adds that the Pacers have some interest in D'Antoni, and that Jeff Van Gundy would be a "serious candidate" for any vacancy in Houston.
