The Kings will select Robert Woodard with the No. 40 pick in the draft, per Shams Charania.

Woodard will slot in on the wing at the next level but may not be quick enough to defend every guard he comes across despite a 6'7" frame and 7'1" wingspan. He is a smart team player on both offense and defense and has made strides to improve his jumper, though it's still up for debate if he can become a respectable 3-point shooter in the NBA. A high IQ pick makes sense for the Kings, who nab Woodard a little bit after his consensus mock draft range.
