Jarrett Allen was on the bench while the Nets came back to catch the Celtics and put the game away in overtime on Tuesday providing just eight points on 3-of-8 shooting and 10 rebounds in 18 minutes.
Allen’s production has been lacking for the last month or so, coinciding with a drop in minutes. He’s fine to hold if you need the rebounds and field goal percentage he brings. However, Allen has been outside the top-165 for the last month, as his blocks have been below average among centers and his free throw percentage has dropped to punt-level territory. With Allen sitting, it was DeAndre Jordan helping with the comeback, totaling eight points (3-of-4 FGs), 15 rebounds, one assist and one block in 35 minutes.
