Speaking to reporters this morning, Sixers GM Elton Brand said that he is not looking to trade Ben Simmons or Joel Embiid, but to complement them better instead.

This was expected and the plan here is for the Sixers to hire a new coach and to give him the opportunity to work on developing the group better. Basketball reality also makes it hard for Philadelphia to trade Tobias Harris or Al Horford, so Brand should be busy in the offseason figuring out a way to reshape the current roster. We should expect more rumors in the next few months but Simmons and Embiid should stay put at least for the next season.
