Al HorfordPF, Philadelphia SixersBrett Brown said on Tuesday that Al Horford has been "great" in accepting what likely will be a significantly lesser role in the new lineup arrangement and the veteran center reiterated the same message.
“I do understand the changes and things like that, but I don't want people to make more of this than what it is. The reality is we'll be fine, and we'll be playing together at times, and at times we won't, and that's just it,” said the Dominican center. The Sixers seem poised to shake things up in their effort to make the Simmons-Embiid duo reach its full potential and Horford will take the biggest hit. He is still likely to play a prominent role coming off the bench but his future in Philadelphia looks murky and it will be interesting to see how far the Sixers go into the playoffs with their new lineup.
