Now that the MLB trade deadline is over and the dust has settled, tens of players have moved from one team to another, while some never left home, with greener pastures just out of their reach. We've gone over who the winners were after the trade deadline was over, so today we will be going over the losers. Remember, this is from a fantasy perspective, not an in-real-life perspective, so it doesn't matter if a player joined a good team if the ballpark negatively affects their ability to hit home runs, it matters because the park can hurt their overall fantasy production.

The MLB trade deadline day ended up being a very busy day, ending what was a very productive five day period of trading. Some teams were winners, some teams were losers, but all told, they completed well over 30 total trades.

When I say "A Midseason Shakeup", I mean it. I took my old rankings, added in the names of like twenty or thirty players, tossed them in a fish bowl, shook it up and then started over anew. Well, not completely anew, as I still kicked off the rankings with Jackson Holliday, but there has been lots of movement up, down, in and out of the rankings. New names have been added (Kevin McGonigle, Chase Dollander and Luke Keaschall, to name a few), old names have been removed (most because of promotions to the majors, but some because the new names have been better) and most have been moved around in the rankings, with few in the same place they were in last month.
