    Overview:

We have a super low total as this is an ideal matchup for PHI to do what they do best.  Run the ball.  Saquon Barkley hasn’t been great and he’s a little banged up on a short week.  Barkley is off to a slow start, averaging just over 50 yards through five games, but he gets a Giants’ team that is 29th vs. the run, giving up 140 yards per-game on the ground.  Don’t be surprised to see Barkley break a big one or two as the Giants have already allowed five runs of 20+ yards.  The Eagles are 30th in total yards per-game with 261, but the Giants give up the 26th most yards at 377.  Something has to give and if Barkley is close to 100%, this should be a get-right game.  The Eagles only pass when they need to and this is a game where they shouldn’t need to.  New QB1 Jaxson Dart went from 111 passing yards in his first game to 202 in his second and now gets a PHI defense that has slipped compared to last season.  Tyrone Tracy returns to help an offense that had five TOs last week and is struggling to find some consistency.  Cam Skattebo is still the RB1 and with Darius Slayton out with Malik Nabers, expect the Giants to live on the ground with Dart, Skattebo and Tracy alternating running the ball.

    Quarterbacks:

Jalen Hurts is as reliable as it gets and he’s been the QB14 in b2b weeks despite passing the ball 38 times last week. That was his most passing attempts since Week 3 of 2024 and it was offset by his lack of rushing as he only had three rushing yards.  Hurts does have at least two passing TDs in three straight games, but the volatility between his passing and rushing stats is frustrating for fantasy GMs.  Hurts continues to deliver solid production-posting at least 19 fantasy points in four of five games and has zero INTs.  On the other side, Jaxson Dart is what people thought Hurts would be coming into the league.  He’s been the QB11 and QB 16 and has at least 50 rushing yards in both of his starts.  On the downside, accuracy, turnovers, and lack of established pass-catchers are recurring concerns as he has three TOs last game.  Dart has a high floor, but how effective will he be as a passer with no real receiving threats outside of Wan’Dale Robinson.  Dart is a fun player to roster, but he’s only a must-start in Super Flex leagues.

    Running Backs:

This is a great battle and Saquon Barkley is a great RB1 finally on a short week.  He only had six carries last week, so he should be fresher than normal vs. a Giants team giving up 5.6 YPR.  If Barkley is ever going to get back to last season, this is his best chance and if he can’t, there are real problems.  The good news is that he’s been more effective in the passing game lately with 89 yards and a TD in the last two games.  High highest finish is RB8 and that should change this week.  The Giants are more confusing as Tyrone Tracy returns to an offense that has been fueled by Cam Skattebo.  The rookie has over 100 all-purpose yards last game, but also lost a fumble that was returned for a TD.  He should remain the RB1 and get most of the work and is worth starting due to his ability to rack up fantasy points, but the schedule isn’t doing the Giants any favors.  Tracy should be rostered, but you can’t start him this week and he’s an elite stash with the way Skattebo plays.
