• Welcome to Wednesday Night Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 4/2! We’re officially in the final stretch of the regular season, and teams’ paths are becoming clearer by the day. As rotations shift and opportunities open up, there are still plenty of under-rostered, underappreciated players who can help you down the stretch. Let’s get into it!

    Standard Leagues

    (<50% rostered on Yahoo)

Tim Hardaway Jr., SG, SF, DET (9% rostered)

Tonight: 37 minutes, 23 points (8-of-14 FG, 2-of-2 FT), three boards, three assists, five triples.

Analysis: Having scored 32 and 20 points in the two games prior, Hardaway Jr. kept his foot on the gas tonight and led his team in scoring during the loss with 23 points, also adding five triples. While he didn’t contribute much elsewhere, a known drawback of his game, he remains a strong short-term add. While he’s in this heater, if you need points and threes, he’s your guy, at least until Cade Cunningham returns.

Pelle Larsson, SG, MIA (9% rostered)

Tonight: 30 minutes, 16 points (4-of-9 FG, 6-of-7 FT), four boards, four assists, one steal, two triples.

Analysis: This is now three games in a row with double-digit scoring for Larsson, and during this stretch, he’s started, played 25-plus minutes, and been efficient. While the return of key absences for the Heat could be looming, potentially limiting his role, usage, and output, Larsson has earned the trust of his coach and teammates over this recent run. He can be a deep-league asset as long as this form continues, perhaps even as soon as tomorrow night with the Heat on a back-to-back.
