Welcome to another SportsEthos expert 2024 NFL Fantasy Football mock draft, where we gathered 16 SportsEthos fantasy sports experts, primarily from the fantasy football division, colliding for an epic meeting of expertise. 16 teams, 15 rounds, until every squad totals 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 FLEX, 1 K, 1 D/ST, and 6 bench spots. Now that it’s over I’ve concluded that there’s a scenario for pretty much every team to have a shot at taking the league down. I wish would it have been our actual experts league draft, but more on that later this off-season! So many different draft strategies are on display and implemented by some of the sharpest fantasy football minds out there, and I highly suggest scanning the board to see which teams and strategies resulted in your favorite of the 16 rosters. Without further ado, let’s meet today’s GMs!

Round One
1. Christian McCaffrey, RB, SF (Leary)2. CeeDee Lamb, WR, DAL (Williamson)3. Tyreek Hill, WR, MIA (Rossi)4. Justin Jefferson, WR, MIN (Szolosi)5. Ja’Marr Chase, WR, CIN (Sandilands)6. Bijan Robinson, RB, ATL (Mosales)7. Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, DET (Baum)8. Breece Hall, RB, NYJ (Shade)9. Puka Nacua, WR, LAR (Kates)10. Saquon Barkley, RB, PHI (Abulaf)11. Garrett Wilson, WR, NYJ (Quaranta)12. A.J. Brown, WR, PHI (Silveira)13. Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, DET (Hernandez)14. Jonathan Taylor, RB, IND (Camero)15. Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, ARI (Dunne)16. Drake London, WR, ATL (Cork)Analysis: A lot to love about the first round this year, but man that drop off in talent is a lot more noticeable in leagues deeper than 10 or 12 teams. The top-eight or so picks went about exactly as I would have them, but I’m personally taking Amon-Ra St. Brown at five and sometimes at four, thanks to the safety he offers compared to some of the other picks in the first round who come with blemishes, albeit minor, on their 2024 fantasy outlook. Max Silveira gets the A.J. Brown in what feels like the biggest value pick in this round, falling to 12th overall after most commonly going in the 9 or 10 spot. Meanwhile, Saquon Barkley is probably the biggest reach here, but I understand the idea behind grabbing a stud RB in a larger league, fearing you might lose access to an elite option on the way back in the second round.
Round Two
1. Kyren Williams, RB, LAR (Cork)2. Brandon Aiyuk, WR, SF (Dunne)3. Mike Evans, WR, TB (Camero)4. Chris Olave, WR, NO (Hernandez)5. Davante Adams, WR, LV (Silveira)6. Josh Allen, QB, BUF (Quaranta)7. Travis Etienne Jr., RB, JAX (Abulaf)8. De’Von Achane, RB, MIA (Kates)9. Cooper Kupp, WR, LAR (Shade)10. Derrick Henry, RB, BAL (Baum)11. Isiah Pacheco, RB, KC (Mosales)12. Sam LaPorta, TE, DET (Sandilands)13. Josh Jacobs, RB, GB (Szolosi)14. Rachaad White, RB, TB (Rossi)15. Nico Collins, WR, HOU (Williamson)16. D.K. Metcalf, WR, SEA (Leary)Analysis: Keith Cork makes his long-awaited debut in this draft by reeling in Drake London and Kyren Williams to anchor his RB and WR positions. Anthony Quaranta and Adam Sandilands took the first onesie positions of the draft in Josh Allen and Sam LaPorta, respectively. I’m somewhat opposed to going for elite TE in the first four rounds given the amount of guys that can make a case for a top-three TE season in 2024, but I surrender that LaPorta has the best case for TE1. Seven RBs and Seven WRs went off the board in this draft, most of which I thought were all reasonable picks, at the very least. Some names I really like in this range are Mike Evans, Isiah Pacheco and Nico Collins. Both Mosales and Abulaf opted to go back-to-back RBs to open their draft, which is an intriguing strategy to shore up the shallowest position in a 16-team league.
