Just three days left in the NBA season! Even though most leagues may be settled, others may be just seeing the end of their season now. With that, there’s value to be had floating out on waiver wires. Who are those names? Continue reading to find out!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Chimezie Metu, F/C, Pistons (14% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 32 minutes, 15 points (5-of-10 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three triples, eight boards, three assists
Metu is playing 30-plus minutes the last three games and putting up respectable stats. The efficiency may be questionable, but some boards, threes, and defensive stats will play in standard leagues.
Cam Whitmore, F, Rockets (13% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 27 minutes, 18 points (5-of-11 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four triples, four boards, four assists, two blocks
Ime Udoka has already said the Rockets will look at giving more looks to younger players. Whitmore should benefit from this, and we already saw increased minutes Thursday. While his fantasy game is still taking shape, he can provide some points and triples.
