As we enter the home stretch, plenty of teams are circulating through numerous players. This gives us a chance to capitalize on these lower-end players and add them to our rosters for our final push. Let’s get into some of those names!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Richaun Holmes, F/C, Wizards (10% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 29 minutes, six points (2-of-9 FG, 2-of-2 FT), 16 rebounds, two assists, one block
Holmes returned from a one-game absence and is the last big man standing in Washington as long as Marvin Bagley III remains out. He’ll usually be better in the FG% department while chipping in some boards and blocks. He’s worth a pickup as long as he’s starting.
Jock Landale, C, Rockets (17% on Yahoo)
Tonight: 27 minutes, 17 points (6-of-10 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), 12 rebounds, five assists, two blocks
Landale was outstanding Thursday, displaying a full complement of skills. He set season-highs in both points and boards while matching a career-high in assists. He played more minutes than starter Jabari Smith Jr., which could be the case if he’s outplaying him. Landale could be a miss in the next game, but at the very least he should serve up some boards and other stats.
