We’ve made it. The first week of the season is finally here. How could you not love it? Each week, I’ll break down every game and provide some insight on who to fade, who to play, and a shot in the dark bet. Keep in mind, I’m not a betting expert, you’ll need to go to the friendly folks over at the Sports Ethos Wager Pass for the good. You’ll see just a snippet of information with some advice sprinkled in to consider when making lineup choices. While each draft selection is yours to make, hopefully you’ll be all the more informed. Remember to check out Larry Vannozzi’s weekly weather report Sunday mornings to make the most informed decisions with the most up to date information. Before we get started, let’s get some housekeeping out of the way.

Week One will probably be the longest preview, as I want to hit as many players as possible so everyone feels the love. There will be times moving forward where I don’t mention every single player, especially those at the top of the rankings. For instance, you might not see a lot about Breece Hall, Tyreek Hill, Trey McBride, Lamar Jackson, etc in these articles for one simple reason: Start Your Studs. If circumstances change, such as injury, I’ll be sure to make note. 

Week One is often the most difficult, because we don’t know anything. Teams have changed, players have improved, players have lost a step, and there are a million other variables that could play out. Of course I’ll have some matchup specific tidbits, but a lot of this is going to start out by really just giving an overview of a players situation and expectations. Once the season gets going and starts to take shape, I’ll sharpen the tools to provide more matchup specific thoughts and analysis.
