The Nets got blown out by the Hornets and if that’s any indication, Brooklyn fans should brace for a long season. Nic Claxton played just 23 minutes, Michael Porter Jr. only 26, and the vibes were… concerning. Elsewhere, Davion Mitchell went off, VJ Edgecombe looked fantastic, Matas Buzelis made Dr. A proud and Victor Wembanyama continues to defy the laws of fantasy physics.
We’re off to a fun start, now let’s make sure you’re making the most of it.
Top Pickups
Moussa Diabaté & Ryan Kalkbrenner
Diabaté came off the bench, but he looked solid in his minutes. Kalkbrenner, meanwhile, drew the start and put up a well-rounded line against Brooklyn. It’s shaping up like a time-share, but both are viable depth adds for fantasy managers needing big men production. Don’t overthink it, if your team needs a big, either one can patch the hole.
