The NBA has been cooking with the two light slates of opening week. The Thunder can’t avoid OT (or wins) and the Nuggets and Warriors gave us a thriller punctuated by Steph Curry heroics. It was hard to think that anything could top the Finals rematch that kicked off the slate, but here we are.

Let’s see if we can get through the day without any FBI arrests!

This is the “general must-add” section regardless of the slate. If these players were overlooked in your draft or remain chilling on the waiver wire, consider adding them to your squad.

Aaron Gordon

Gordon is a known commodity in fantasy but wasn’t universally drafted in 12-team leagues. That’s understandable, but you have to kick the tires here if Gordon is available in any of your leagues. You have already missed his best game of the year — that’s weird to think about, isn’t it? — but if Gordon returns from the stratosphere gradually there’s still good lines on the way.
