2025 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Vol. 6

  • Week six is in the books, and we are turning the page to an exciting week seven slate. More injuries, news, and data to sift through and provide a new perspective on how to help our teams get better, this weeks waiver wire has some intriguing options.

    The Crown Jewel

Kimani Vidal, LAC (34%) – It turns out Haskins was not the answer, as Vidal finished as the RB8 on the week with 124 yards on 18 carries. He had minimal pass game production, but his touchdown was through the air, showing there is something to he had in the pass game for him. The Chargers offense continues to looks good, and playing 67% of the snaps is a sign that he is the guy they will look to use moving forward. (FAAB: 25%)

    Quarterbacks

Jaxson Dart, NYG (37%) – New York might have found one with Dart. He looked poised and prepared to go up against an archrival that has had the Giants number for about a decade now. Without his premier weapon in Malik Nabers, he led an absolute beatdown of the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles. I was hesitant to believe he was a viable option weekly moving forward, but his 50+ rushing yards in all three starts provides a safe enough floor to pair with some upside. He should be rostered in most all formats. (FAAB: 10-15%)

JJ McCarthy, MIN (28%) – Now is the time to pick up the Vikings franchise QB. He may or may not play this week, so if you need someone to play right now, look elsewhere. If you can wait a week or two, JJM should be good to go. The scheme is elite for QB’s; Carson Wentz was able to put up back-to-back top 13 weeks in 2025. (FAAB: 5%)

Michael Penix, ATL (23%) – The Falcons offense looked really good yesterday, though it didn’t quite transfer to a really good fantasy output from Penix. A shade under 15 points is fine as he finished with 250 pass yards and a touchdown, but I couldn’t help but feel like this offense could have had a bigger night. The second-year pro should continue to grow, and in two weeks they play the Dolphins. (FAAB: 5%)
