Nicolas ClaxtonPF, Brooklyn NetsNicolas Claxton hopped on the Nets' Twitter account on Friday to do a Q & A session with fans, revealing that he will be working on improving his jump shot during his time off.
Claxton only has 15 career NBA games under his belt thus far, but showed some promise during the 2019-2020 season. His shooting percentages, however, could use some improvement. The 6-foot-11 power forward shot only 56.2 percent from the floor; not great for someone who takes the majority of his shots from in close. Claxton's 52.4 free-throw percentage and paltry 14.3 percent from deep obviously leaves much to be desired as well. During his career at the University of Georgia (two seasons, 65 games), he also struggled shooting the ball. He finished with career percentages of 50.0 percent FG, 30.2 percent 3PT and 61.1 percent from the line while with the Bulldogs from 2017-2019. Claxton's shot evidently still needs plenty of refinement.
