• Luke Kennard
    SG, Detroit Pistons

Dwane Casey told reporters on Tuesday that Luke Kennard (bilateral knee soreness) will miss at least one more week.

This is not the news that owners who grabbed Kennard off waivers recently were hoping for. Kennard recently said that he was pain-free and the team was initially targeting this week for a potential return, so maybe they are opting for more practice time. If Kennard can return early next week, there will be a sizable role for him right of the rip with Derrick Rose missing at least two more weeks with a Grade 2 ankle sprain. Bruce Brown, Svi Mykhailuk and Jordan Bone should see additional run and usage in the meantime.
