The NBA has announced that the playoffs will resume on Saturday.

No word on the exact schedule yet, but it's widely expected that Wednesday's games will be played tomorrow, with Thursday's slate moved to Sunday. The NBA has also agreed to establish a social justice coalition, with representatives from the player, coach and governor ranks, to focus on issues including access to voting, civic engagement and police and criminal justice reform. More immediately, team governors are going to be working to convert NBA arenas into voting locations ahead of the upcoming election. There's more work to be done, but it's a start — turning arenas into polling places for underserved communities is a real concrete action.
