Vince CarterSG, Atlanta HawksVince Carter announced his retirement from professional basketball, ending a remarkable 22-year career that spanned four different decades.
While it was disappointing for Carter's career to end so suddenly in the wake of the league-wide stoppage due to the coronavirus, it was widely expected that Vinsanity would hang up his high-flying exploits at this season's end. His career concludes with eight All-Star selections, two All-NBA appearances, and numerous highlight-reel dunks that originally earned him the moniker, "Air Canada". Carter's career covered all types of roles, from superstar to starter and role player, before ending his career as a mentor for the young roster in Atlanta.
