The Nets will start a full head coaching search at the end of season in order to choose who will lead Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and a team that is expected to be a title contender.

Shams is reporting that Nets owner Joe Tsai wants a full-scale head coaching process to take place in order for the team to identify the best partner for all parties involved, including team ownership, front office and the players. Current head coach Jacque Vaughn is the incumbent and will be a significant candidate to retain the job but there will be competition. Lakers assistant Jason Kidd, Sixers assistant Ime Udoka, Clippers assistant Ty Lue and former Knicks and Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy are some names that will be strongly considered.
