    According to Sam Amico of SI, it’s too early to say what the Cavs have planned for the draft, but one opposing executive insists that they don't really want to bring in another young unknown.

    The Cavs are coming off a second consecutive 19-win season and owner Dan Gilbert wants the team to start winning some games and generating interest. Cleveland started a second-year player in Collin Sexton and a rookie in Darius Garland in the backcourt for most of this past season, while rookie guard Kevin Porter Jr. became one of their key reserves and the team continues to wait for the debut of injured 2019 first-round pick Dylan Windler. Uncertainty surrounds the entire draft at the moment, while commissioner Adam Silver recently said he doesn't even know when next season will begin. Many around the league seem to believe the draft, tentatively scheduled for October 16th, still will be held before November 1st, and it remains to see what the Cavs do after failing to get a top-3 pick in the lottery.
