Joel Embiid

C, Philadelphia Sixers

Joel Embiid (sore left ankle) will start for the Sixers on Friday against the Rockets, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

There was some speculation that Embiid would rest on Friday evening, especially after missing Tuesday's game vs. the Suns and only playing 14 minutes on Wednesday. He obviously feels plenty healthy enough to take the court and will use the game vs. the Rockets as a tune-up prior to their first-round clash with the Celtics next week.
