Damian Lillard made a statement in a 61-point effort vs. the Mavs on Tuesday, going 17-for-32 from the floor and dishing nine assists.

He did it all in this one, willing the Blazers to a crucial victory. Dame chipped in with five boards as well. The Suns won on Tuesday also, upping the ante for the Blazers, who currently hold the ninth spot in the West by 0.5 games. The Mavs are now locked into the seventh seed with the defeat. With the NBA announcing that they will be handing out an award for "Bubble MVP" and an "All-Bubble team," it seems inevitable that Lillard his names to both, regardless of how the standings play out the rest of the way.
