Alec BurksSG, Philadelphia SixersAlec Burks went for 23 points (9-of-17 FG) in the Sixers' loss to the Suns on Tuesday, chipping in with four assists, two boards and a steal in 28 minutes.
Burks started the contest for the Sixers, who are badly hampered by injuries. Ben Simmons (left knee) is likely out for the season and the trio of Joel Embiid (ankle), Al Horford (left knee soreness) and Tobias Harris (right ankle soreness) all sat out. Even Josh Richardson (rest) got the night off. Burks is a proven scorer but has never really received a true opportunity to crack a starting lineup in the NBA yet.
