Tristan Thompson is weighing a number of factors this offseason, but a chilly market in combination with the chance to expand his legacy in Cleveland could keep him with the Cavs.

While Thompson will have his share of suitors from teams much better than the Cavs, that will not be the only aspect of this decision. Thompson could find himself in a limited role and signing a bargain deal to end up with a contender. On the other hand, he has grown into a leader in Cleveland and has plenty of opportunity to advance his legacy by signing an extension and staying with the Cavs for over a decade.
