Alec BurksSG, Philadelphia SixersAlec Burks put together a comeback season in 2019-20, netting top-95/85 (8/9-cat) value and setting career-highs in points (15.1), rebounds (4.4), steals (1.0), blocks (0.3) threes (1.7) and free throw percentage (.896).
With Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and D'Angelo Russell missing huge chunks of time, Burks was sort of the last man standing in Golden State and got his fill on the stat sheet. Unfortunately the campaign was a tale of two halves for Burks, who saw his value slip to top-220 after being traded to the Sixers, where he became a bench player. We'll have to see if Burks can split the difference between garbage time monster and irrelevant depth piece next season, but we would err on the side of him not quite making hay in standard formats. A lot can change between now and draft time but Burks is going to struggle to come close to the volume that powered his wonderful season.
