Hi guys I’m in a 10 cat, 12 team, h2h (3pm, 3p%, FT%, Rebs, Points, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Turnovers, FG%) and punting points and loose punting the 2 3s categories. Thinking of trading Bron for a “safer” option in Siakim but wonder if I’m giving up potentially too much for him.

Thanks

Can the Siakam owner include a player other than Hart? That could work.

@nassero99 I see. Either Poeltl or Hart could work for your punt strategy.

I would take Siakim over Lebron straight up, anything else is gravy. Lebron's injury risk is higher, and when he is injured, it'll take longer to recover. Go for it!

@nassero99 I have like half your roster on my team: Hayes, Melton, Bron, AD, Butler I have. I have a similar dilemma with Bron as he doesnt look a lot like himself and am trying to gauge his value. Im also punting 3PM and FT%

@brandonbourassa Aye it’s tough out here ahahaha Biggest problem for me is I’m a Bron fan so I’m worried that with how much the team is losing there’s a shutdown risk too

@nassero99 Im also a Laker/Lebron fan and its hurting in real life and fantasy right now lol. I can't see someone of Lebrons caliber getting shutdown oddly enough, no matter how bad they are, especially if he is chasing that scoring title. For me its the injuries since they seem to come much more frequently now and it takes him longer to heal from them. Not sure but I need to see some signs of 1st round potential soon or I may get aggressive in the trade market.

My take is that this is the wrong time to trade Bron. I know everything in fantasy feels like it needs to happen NOW NOW NOW but sometimes waiting a week can make a huge difference. What is Bron's ankle really slowed him down? What if he goes on a tear shooting 60% for 4-5 games and moves back into a top-15 slot? You could get someone 2-3 clicks above Siakam at that point.

On the other hand, what if he doesn't? I bet Siakam is still on the table a week, 2 weeks from now. I say, what's the hurry?

@dbesbris I guess that’s a more logical approach ahahaha Guess he does have the pedigreee that even if I watch him taking a stepback I can sell on a 20 year history of being better
