Hey all, feels weird but good to be back in the Hoob forums! I am wondering if anyone has done a daily fantasy league before. My league mates opted for this type of league, and I've never played in one before. I have a vague sense of DFS priorities and value plays, but what sort of strategies are out there for a league? Does it mainly conform to points league formats? Any resources specifically on Hoop Ball or elsewhere to get a strong foundation before the first games on July 30? Any help appreciated!
Hi @tyvick you should check out Dan Besbris' ranks and then we'll have all sorts of coverage here on both the free and premium side. I think everything right now is format driven. Premium has projections you can use and I'd just say with the parity and oddity of the bubble that I'd be looking at some upset teams. It's a total free for all out there, though when I did the projections I did actually feel like I had a grip on it all. It could easily be famous last words though.
Thanks for this! It's somewhat comforting to know that we're all in the same boat of uncertainty, haha. I'll keep checking out premium and listening to the DFS pod, and reviewing Dan's rankings, to see if I can find some solid bets on players who could blow up in the bubble.
