Disagree. It is quite close. JJJ is a top-65 guy right now who is getting hype like he's a top-25 dude. Lowry has been a top-30 guy who hasn't played multiple games in weeks.
Gasol has been in and out of some slumps, but he's putting together one of his best seasons in a decade.
It's a fine trade, but I hate trading down, and if you want to unload Gasol, just aim for a similarly ranked guy in a 1-for-1.
