I put out a couple of buy-low offers for Conley on the basis that I need some PG help. Received an unexpected counter: his Conley for my Josh Richardson. I hit accept. Cause for celebration, or too soon to tell?
Based on last year's numbers, you wouldn't expect this to be much assist help... but I just can't think Richardson averages 4 dimes again now that he's playing with Simmons, Embiid and Horford, all of whom are above average at their position for assists. Richardson should definitely be better in defensive stats, but Conley should be better otherwise?
Your logic is solid. Conley should almost definitely get his act together. What does your team need?
Seems like a nice small incremental bump with minimal downside once Conley gets rolling. I give it my approval.
