Give: Larry Nance
Get: Thomas Bryant
It's a 40 game per week games cap w the following settings:
Points: 1
Rebounds: 2
AST: 2.5
STL: 3
3PM: 1
TO : -1
BLK: 2.8
Double Double Bonus: 3
Triple Double Bonus: 10
Thanks!
Also worth mentioning that it's a 12-team league where each team holds 14 guys (10 starting slots, 4 bench) plus 2 IR so waiver wire is usually pretty thing.
On a per-minute basis Nance is probably the better player in that format thanks to the hefty bonuses for assists and steals, but he's going to have to deal with TT and Love coming for his minutes and numbers going forward. Bryant has a less diversified stat set and unfortunately his great %s that are a huge part of his category-league value don't help him here. Still, he's got a lot of opportunity in front of him, and he at least should have a good shot at racking up those double-double bonuses. I think that plus the uncertainty about Nance's role when the Cavs are at full strength would be enough for me to be happy getting Bryant in this trade.
Yeah, I think I'd lean Bryant, too. Nance is about to become a 3rd-stringer, so that's a tough spot
