Hey guys,

Signed up to an extra league because the stress of one league wasn’t enough. It’s a randomly assigned league in Yahoo and someone has added Norman Powell for roco....

So obviously I want the possibly top 25 guy but when going to add him it’s an FAAB waiver wire? Can someone explain how these work for yahoo and also advise on what would be reasonable for an offer for someone like roco? I’m guessing something like 50+ when the limit is 100? I’ve not done anything like this before for. A fantasy league except transfer fees in fantasy football (soccer).

Also does the FAAB reset at any point in the season and if you add a guy that’s not on waivers you don’t have to pay FAAB?

TIA!

Hi Rashby,

A player like that would typically go for about $65 in a competitive ringer league and from there the likelihood is that you could get him for cheaper, but the beauty of FAAB is that you just never know who will bid what. I've seen people bid 90 of 100 dollars on terrible terrible players so you have to go with what you're comfortable with. If somebody made that drop I have to think there is at least one bad player and maybe more? So maybe I'd try to go cheap like $30 or $40 or $50 because people are generally frugal with their FAAB until they get into ultra competitive situations. Hope this helps!

Amazing! Thanks Bruski. I’ve gone for 50 and see if I get lucky. Even if his stats don’t fit my build I can pair him and flip him when he starts to put up good numbers.
