Hello. All.

I am in 9 cat points league (14 teams).

Got a Middleton offer for my Covington.
I value defensive stats(stl and blk). (punting points). I know Covington fits into the purpose better than Middleton. But I know Middleton is a much better player overall.

Do Should still keep Covington, or should I make a deal?

My team is
Oladipo, Smart, Hood, Lin
Covington, Holmes, Slow-mo, Marvin, Jeff Green
Whiteside, Vonleh, Noel, Gibson, T.Thopmson(DL)

Thank you, all.

Interesting; two guys who've both been slumping and kinda-sorta-maybe been playing hurt lately. Guess that cancels out. I think Middleton is *just* enough of a better asset overall (going forward anyway) that I'd take the deal even if it's not perfect for my build. You can always flip Middleton down the road (once he gets on a roll again anyway) and/or make some smaller moves to balance out your stats. It's still early enough in the season that I wouldn't get so married to a particular build that I pass up a decent upgrade in value.

In a points league, can you really punt points?

I think I prefer RoCo in a 9-cat format, but Middleton in points leagues because of his huge edge in the easier-to-get categories.

But I love RoCo more than the average bear.

You have to go with the guy who has proven he can sustain top 25 value, Middleton.

Yeah I figured that's what you meant. I'd still go with Middleton but it wouldn't be unreasonable to stick with Cov.
